Data Collection Options
UNITIME On Demand supports a wide variety of data collection options
including swipe-card time clocks, biometric time clocks, Web-based
punching, and Web-based timesheets. All UNITIME On Demand data
collection methods support job costing, and they can be combined in
any configuration to customize time entry procedures to your
workforce.
The UNITIME ON Demand employee interface supports all transaction
types including in-for-day, out-for-day, lunch, break, and transfer
punches. Depending on permissions, employees can also enter timesheets
for an entire week or pay period. In addition to data collection
functions, UNITIME On Demand gives employees access to personal time
and attendance information such as schedules, hours worked, benefit
hour balances, and messages from supervisors.
Some employees don’t have access to a computer for entering punches,
so UNITIME On Demand also supports Accu-Time and HandPunch time
clocks, which are available in Ethernet, modem, and direct-connect
communication configurations. These time clocks include customizable
function keys and magnetic stripe, bar code, or proximity badge
readers. All time clocks include an internal lithium battery, which
protects data in case of power failure, and optional battery backups
provide uninterruped service during power outages
